Prepare a brief sketch on Anne Frank's family |
Answer»
Anne Frank When Anne Frank is GIVEN a diary for her thirteenth birthday, she immediately fills it with the details of her life: descriptions of her friends, boys who like her, and her classes at school. Anne finds comfort writing in her diary because she feels she has difficulty opening up to her friends and therefore has no true confidants. Anne also records her perceptions of herself. She does not think she is pretty, but she is confident that her personality and other good traits make up for it. Through her writing, Anne comes across as playful and comical but with a serious side. Anne’s diary entries show from the outset that she is content and optimistic despite the threats and DANGER that her family faces. The tone and substance of her writing change considerably while she is in hiding. Anne is remarkably forthright and perceptive at the beginning of the diary, but as she leaves her normal childhood behind and ENTERS the dire and unusual circumstances of the Holocaust, she becomes more introspective and thoughtful. During her first year in the annex, Anne struggles with the adults, who constantly criticize her behavior and consider her “exasperating.” Anne feels extremely lonely and in need of kindness and affection, which she feels her mother is incapable of providing. She also wrestles with her inner self and considers what type of person she wants to become as she enters womanhood. Anne tries to understand her identity in the microcosm of the annex and attempts to understand the workings of the cruel world outside. As she matures, Anne comes to long not for female companionship, but intimacy with a male counterpart. She becomes INFATUATED with Peter, the van Daan’s teenage son, and comes to consider him a close friend, confidant, and eventually an object of romantic desire. In her final diary entries, Anne is particularly lucid about the changes she has undergone, her ambitions, and how her experience is changing her. She has a clear perspective of how she has matured during their time in the annex, from an insolent and obstinate girl to a more emotionally independent young woman. Anne begins to think about her place in society as a woman, and her plans for overcoming the obstacles that have defeated the ambitions of women from previous generations, such as her mother. Anne continues to struggle with how she can be a good person when there are so MANY obstacles in her world. She writes eloquently about her confusion over her identify, raising the question of whether she will consider herself Dutch, as she hears that the Dutch have become anti-Semitic. Anne thinks philosophically about the nature of war and humanity and about her role as a young Jewish girl in a challenging world. From her diary, it is clear that she had the potential to become an engaging, challenging, and sophisticated writer. this might help you a lot select this as brain list |

Give me 2 speech on my best friend |
Answer» Answer: Speech 1 It is said a friend in need is a friend indeed. An ideal friend possesses all the qualities of head and heart. It is easy to befriend anybody, but difficult to have good friends. I have also many friends but I like Rahul the most. Rahul is my best friend. He reads in my class. He is sixteen years of age. He sits next to me in the class. He lives in my neighbourhood, so we play together. He likes me very much. He has proved helpful when there was a need for help. Rahul is a very handsome boy. He has good health. He speaks sweetly. He has good manners. He has a COMMAND both in studies and sports. He has won many prizes in sports contests. All the students of our class love him. His father is a doctor and his mother a teacher. His parents are very kind and gentle. They love children. His mother loves me like her own son. I like Rahul very much because he is intelligent as well as a good player. He has no bad habits. He respects his parents, his teachers and others. He goes to school in time and regularly does his home-task. He likes to play when he is free. Rahul and I go to school together. He is the most intelligent boy and always stands first in the class. Our teachers like Rahul for his INTELLIGENCE and the students for his friendly nature. He has pleasing manners, sweet words and a cheerful face. Rahul is very sympathetic to the poor and helps them. He wants to spend his time with him. In fact, he is an ideal of all. is very kind to all. He treats everybody like a friend. Every student wants to spend time with him. In fact, he is an ideal of all. Speech 2 My friend in my music school class is my best friend. We have been together learning the Hawaiian guitar for five years now. She is two years older than me. We have our classes in the evening, four times a week. We love to play the guitar and learn new compositions in class. We also like to practise together. When we meet at home we have a great deal of fun and frolic. Both of us hope to become professional guitarists, and form a band and present innovative and fusion music that we compose which people can ENJOY listening to. My friend is a good natured and kindly girl. She is courteous and helpful. I have learnt many good values because of my friendship with her. When we meet we do many interesting things together. We both love sweetmeats. And so, in vacation time, we MAKE goodies like CAKES and cookies with a variety of flavors, condiments, spices and fruits. We enjoy making these together and sharing them with all at home. We attended a short cookery course too, and we like to work together in the kitchen and make some innovative dishes. We may cook at my friend’s place or at mine. Sometimes these dishes come out well, but there are times when we do not get it right as we may not have followed the recipe correctly. Our mothers are kind, and do not scold us much when we mess up a dish. My friend and I enjoy watching films together during holidays or vacations. We like watching comedies. We feel disturbed if we watch horror films and avoid them completely. My friend is a brilliant girl, and gives me useful tips for my studies. She is kindly and caring too. When I have any difficulty in my studies or have a tough project to do for school, she helps me. When I fall ill, my friend comes to my place and spends time with me, and helps me with my studies too. She is a friend who means much to me, and I love her very dearly. Please mark as brainliest.. |

Write a letter to the editor of an English daily on farmer suicide in india |
Answer» Answer: Follow or brainlistExplanation: Farmer SUICIDES in India refers to the national catastrophe of farmers committing SUICIDE since the 1990s, often by drinking pesticides, due to their inability to repay loans mostly taken from banks and NBFCs to purchase expensive seeds and fertilizers, often marketed by foreign MNCs.[1] As of 2018, in Maharashtra alone, more than 60,000 suicides had taken place, with an AVERAGE of 10 suicides every day.[2] The National Crime Records Bureau of India reported that a total 296,438 Indian farmers had committed suicide since 1995. Of these, 60,750 farmer suicides were in the STATE of Maharashtra since 1995, with the remainder spread out in Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh, all states with loose financial and entry regulations.[3][4] Earlier, governments had reported varying figures, from 5,650 farmer suicides in 2014[5] to the highest number of farmer suicides in 2004 of 18,241.[6] The farmers suicide rate in India had ranged between 1.4 and 1.8 per 100,000 total population, over a 10-year period through 2005, however the figures in 2017 and 2018 showed an average of more than 10 suicides daily.[7] There are accusations of states manipulating the data on farmer suicides, hence the real figures could be even higher.[8] India is an agrarian country with around 70% of its people depending directly or indirectly upon agriculture. Farmer suicides account for 11.2% of all suicides in India.[5] Activists and scholars have offered a number of conflicting reasons for farmer suicides, such as high debt burdens, poor government policies, corruption in subsidies, monsoon failure, public mental HEALTH, personal issues and family problems |

Write a note on kalam's childhood and parentage. |
Answer» Answer: Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 to a Tamil Muslim family in the pilgrimage centre of Rameswaram on Pamban Island, then in the Madras Presidency and now in the State of Tamil Nadu. His father Jainulabdeen was a boat owner and imam of a local mosque;[9] his mother Ashiamma was a housewife.[10][11][12][13] His father owned a ferry that took Hindu PILGRIMS back and forth between Rameswaram and the now uninhabited Dhanushkodi.[14][15] Kalam was the youngest of four brothers and one sister in his family.[16][17][18] His ancestors had been wealthy traders and landowners, with numerous properties and large tracts of LAND. Their business had involved trading groceries between the mainland and the island and to and from Sri Lanka, as well as ferrying pilgrims between the mainland and Pamban. As a result, the family acquired the title of "Mara Kalam Iyakkivar" (wooden boat steerers), which over the years became shortened to "Marakier." With the opening of the Pamban Bridge to the mainland in 1914, however, the businesses failed and the family fortune and properties were lost over time, apart from the ANCESTRAL home.[19] By his early childhood, Kalam's family had become poor; at an early age, he sold newspapers to supplement his family's income.[20][20][21] In his school years, Kalam had average grades but was described as a bright and hardworking student who had a strong desire to learn. He spent HOURS on his studies, especially mathematics.[21] After completing his education at the Schwartz Higher Secondary School, Ramanathapuram, Kalam went on to attend Saint Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli, then affiliated with the University of Madras, from where he graduated in physics in 1954.[22] He moved to Madras in 1955 to study aerospace engineering in Madras Institute of Technology.[13] While Kalam was working on a senior class project, the Dean was dissatisfied with his lack of progress and threatened to revoke his scholarship unless the project was finished within the next THREE days. Kalam met the deadline, impressing the Dean, who later said to him, "I was putting you under stress and asking you to meet a difficult deadline".[23] He narrowly missed achieving his dream of becoming a fighter pilot, as he placed ninth in qualifiers, and only eight positions were available in the IAF.[24] |

One should eat to live not live to eat ( expand the idea ) |
Answer» Explanation: One should eat to LIVE, not live to eat. The primary PURPOSE of eating is to live and lead a healthy life by NOURISHING one's body with a healthy DIET, water and fruits. Through eating food, one can supply his/her body with the required nutrients to enable growth and maintenance of the body. It is therefore essential to note that one should not live to eat; this is because our primary purpose is not living life to eat. After taking meals, people indulge in other activities, work, or school. This means that food should not be a priority in our lives. Notably, it is essential to eat healthy foods and nourish our BODIES with water; thus, one should eat to live and not live to eat. |
