Give a brief physical description of the astrolger and mention its effect on the people who saw him.

Answer»

Answer:

Astrology is a pseudoscience that claims to divine information about human affairs and terrestrial events by studying the movements and relative positions of celestial objects.[1][2][3][4] Astrology has been dated to at least the 2nd millennium BCE, and has its roots in calendrical systems used to predict seasonal shifts and to interpret celestial cycles as signs of divine communications.[5] Many cultures have attached importance to astronomical events, and some—such as the Hindus, Chinese, and the Maya—developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations. Western astrology, one of the oldest astrological systems still in use, can trace its roots to 19th–17th century BCE Mesopotamia, from which it spread to Ancient Greece, ROME, the Arab world and eventually Central and Western EUROPE. CONTEMPORARY Western astrology is often associated with systems of horoscopes that purport to explain aspects of a person's personality and predict significant events in their lives based on the positions of celestial objects; the majority of professional astrologers rely on such systems.[6]:83

Explain curves lesson

Answer»

Answer:

a curve

Explanation:

(also called a curved line in OLDER texts) is, generally speaking, an object similar to a line but that need not be straight. Thus, a curve is a generalization of a line, in that it may be curved.

Intuitively, a curve may be thought as the trace left by a moving point. This is the definition that appeared, more 2000 years, ago in Euclid's Elements: "The [curved] line[a] is […] the first species of quantity, which has only one dimension, namely length, without any width nor depth, and is nothing else than the flow or run of the point which […] will leave from its imaginary moving some vestige in length, exempt of any width."[1]

This definition of a curve has been formalized in modern mathematics as: A curve is the image of a continuous function from an interval to a topological space. In some context, the function that defines the curve is called a parametrization, and the curve is a parametric curve. In this article, these curves are sometimes called topological curves for distinguishing them from more constrained curves such as differentiable curves. This definition encompasses most curves that are studied in mathematics; notable exceptions are level curves (which are unions of curves and isolated points), and algebraic curves (SEE below). Level curves and algebraic curves are sometimes called implicit curves, since they are generally defined by implicit equations.

Nevertheless, the class of topological curves is very broad, and contains some curves that do not look as one may expect for a curve, or even cannot been drawn. This is the case of space-filling curves and fractal curves. For insuring more regularity, the function that defines a curve is often supposed to be differentiable, and the curve is then said a differentiable curve.

A plane algebraic curve is the ZERO set of a polynomial in two indeterminates. More generally, an algebraic curve is the zero set of a finite set of polynomials, which satisfies the further condition of being an algebraic variety of dimension one. If the coefficients of the polynomials belong to a field k, the curve is said to be defined over k. In the common case of a real algebraic curve, where k is the field of real numbers, an algebraic curve is a finite UNION of topological curves. When complex zeros are considered, one has a complex algebraic curve, which, from the topologically point of view, is not a curve, but a surface, and is often called a Riemann surface. Although not being curves in the common sense, algebraic curves defined over other fields have been widely studied. In particular, algebraic curves over a finite field are widely used in modern cryptography.

In my dream last night mahatma gandhi told me --------OrFor me mahatma gandhi is -----Plz write a one page paragraph plz quickly send.

Answer»

The techniques of the "father of the nation" Mahatma Gandhi, to gain independence from the British were of an "unique kind". He not only promoted non-violence and non-cooperation, but ALSO showed the world that one can fight any kind of "slavery & triumph" over the world's most "strong army", the British Army, with "real resolve, perseverance & truthfulness".

Explanation:

His efforts focused primarily on poverty eradication, WOMEN's rights, untouchability & equality. Not just every Indian, but everyone in the world values the PHILOSOPHY and takes on Gandhiji's lessons in his everyday life. For me Mahatma Gandhi is

  1. Inspiration: He inspired people for his ideology of non-violence and advocated the ban on international goods, implemented 'khadi' and abolished  untouchability & motivated us to do our own work.
  2. Truthfulness: He used non-violence only to do "Ahimsa, salt Sathyagraha" and accomplish his purpose. He always insisted on saying the truth and was never afraid of saying the truth.
  3. Positive Energy: UNLIKE other politicians, he never was confused, had clarity of thinking, and never had a double mind, devoted his life with his true desire and self-motivation to our country. He has never shown anyone his weakness.
  4. Braveness: His bravery and confidence in his TALK motivates me. With great simplicity, he was a leader who showed his simple living life style with a highly determined mind.
  5. Non-Violence: Gandhi ji, the nation's founder, believed only in non-violence, and never surrendered and lost hope. This is where a freedom fighter differs from the other fighter, and we believe in his dedication although he never allowed his conviction to go beyond nonviolence in many struggles and defeat.

Because of his perseverance, British people left India and he had transformed India into an independent country. While Gandhiji's thoughts and inspirations are not with us today, they still lead us and our leaders to take the route of Non cooperation and Nonviolence to achieve our nation's goals and purposes. I hope we can only follow the road he showed and strive to create an India of which he had dreamed.

Answer»

Answer:

pls mark me as BRAINLIEST and give thanks

Explanation:

In the year 2016, I had the most traumatizing experience. I was robbed at gun point at HOME. The robbers were very mean and they threatened to shoot me if I did not show them co-operation. I was very scared when one of the robbers told me that they could kill me if I EVER reported the incident to the police.

Luckily I had a friend who was a private investigator. I called her immediately after the robbery and she promised to help me out. The robbers had been careless. Getting their fingerprints and other bits of evidence was very EASY for her.

The case was later reported to the police and the perpetrators were swiftly arrested. I can never THANK Helena enough for comforting me during my lowest period in my life. She really made me  feel happy and accepted

I need a speech for 3 mins about my brother .....

Answer»

Explanation:

s not easy being Jake’s BROTHER. Smart, reasonably attractive, a doctorate in a field I can hardly spell. WELL, that my mother can hardly spell. I feel like the Danny Devito to his Arnold Schwartzenneger. So it’s with a heavy heart that I must add one more check in his column, his marriage to the wonderful Sophia. But I got the good hair, so at least there’s that.

Jake, this is the part where I bet you’ll think I’ll trot out the embarrassing anecdotes from our childhood. And you’d be wrong. I want to talk about some of the attributes that make you who you are. But in an embarrassing fashion.

There was the time you made me play Dungeon’s and Dragons with you in your bedroom so that your elf warrior would have a plus one sword the next time you played with your middle school friends. As you can see, Jake is quite resourceful.

Remember that one summer when you were home from Pomona? You decided to crack a beer and boil some ramen, showing off your newfound adulthood. You stood at the stove like it was a natural extension of your arms, a chef in the making. You wound up grilling our toaster, which promptly burst into flames. We were scrubbing ash out of the carpet and windows for weeks. This illustrates just a tiny slice of his culinary skill.

Your nose job. Granted, it was the result of PLAYING rugby. Or so you claim. So I guess it demonstrates your grit. Or, if the rugby thing is just a cover, your vanity.

The ill-advised earring you received during a church youth retreat. I’m not sure what attribute that describes, but it had to be said.

I’m sorry Sophia, I’m not sure if you knew what you were getting in to. Good LUCK with all that.

Let me close with this. A couple of winters AGO, I was visiting my brother here in San Diego, happy just to be away from another Chicago December. He came home one night with the biggest smile on his face. A rarity, since he wasn’t looking at his fantasy basketball team at the time. I asked him why the grin, and he simply responded that he had met someone that night.

Sophia, thank you for keeping him smiling all these years later. I wish you two every happiness. Amor vincit omnia, Jake, I love you.
