Essay on being alone at home |
|
Answer» Answer: When I was alone at home one day, I was more excited than being afraid. My parents had gone for an invitation and had left me behind as I was not keen in going with them. I was feeling FREE like a bird and very independent for the FIRST time in my life. I had some snacks that my mother had prepared along with a glass of hot chocolate, which is my favourite. I then sank into the couch and began reading one of my favourite stories of the Hardy Boys. I read the story book for about an hour and then decided to TAKE a break. It was around 6:30 p.m. by then. My favourite television programme would begin at 7:00 p.m.; although my mother instructed me on the 'dos and don'ts of watching television. Any way for about another two hours I would be the master of my life! I peeped out of the window. There was the full moon shining brightly on the streets. Some children were playing badminton on a cool wintry NIGHT. A cool and fresh gust of wind was blowing through the window. I WENT to the kitchen and then to the refrigerator to find something to munch on. Finding something to eat, I returned to the hall room where I became a couch potato and watched my favourite Television programme. It was around 7:30 p.m. and I was sitting comfortably on the couch, when the lights went off. It was a power cut. Suddenly I found myself in darkness. What bad luck, I thought to myself. I went to find the emergency light to get rid of the darkness around me. I was feeling a bit afraid in the dark, but was finding the whole episode more like some sort of an adventure. HOPE ITS HELP YOU PLEASE MARK ME AS BRAINLIEST |

Honey badgers has long, sharp claws. These claws is good for attacking and even better in digging. Honey badgers are some of nature's most skilled diggers. They could dig a nine-foot tunnel into hard ground into about 10 minutes. They love to catch a meal with digging up the burrows from frogs, rodents and cobras. They also use its digging skills to create their homes. They live on small chambers in the ground and defend it fiercely. You might be wondering: If honey badgers is so tough, how does they get a name that makes them sound like a pieces of candy? The answer makes sense Since honey badgers having such thick skin, bee stings rarely harm it. So honey badgers love to raid beehives. I can't blame they. Who don't like free honey? Did you know that a eagle knows when a storm was approaching long before it breaks? The eagle would fly to some high spot and wait to the winds to come. When the storm hit it sets his wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it over the storm. While the storm rages under the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle did not escapes the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises in the winds that bring the storm.find error |

Answer» Answer: How the Covid-19 pandemic has thrown education around the world in a loop The GLOBAL impact of Coronavirus is immense as educational institutes all over the world – from Harvard to the IITs – are closed. Covid-19 has thrown education all over the world in a loop. Here are the major problems. India Today Web Desk New Delhi April 7, 2020UPDATED: April 7, 2020 19:45 IST How coronavirus affected education, impact of coronavirus on education, coronavirus impact on education, how covid-19 affected education, impact of covid-19 on education, effect of covid-19 on education around the world The global impact of Covid-19 is immense as educational institutes all over the world – from Harvard to the IITs – are closed. (Photos: PTI) Schools are shut, and students are stranded at home, with extremely limited contact with friends and virtually no physical activity, thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic raging across the world. IB, A Levels, ICSE, CBSE all known and recognized boards have postponed or cancelled examinations. Likewise, top colleges like MIT, Harvard, Princeton have closed. Closer home, institutions like IITs and IIMs have all closed their campuses and moved classes online. Even standardized tests like GMAT, GRE, SATs, ACT remain suspended and the FUTURE of many students hangs in balance! Clearly, there is panic all around and educators and students alike are confused as to next steps and continuity with respect to educational objectives. In our opinion there are three major education problems that students and educators currently face due to the Covid-19 pandemic: 1. Students caught in the cross-wire (Photo: Reuters) These are those students who are caught in the limbo on account of education outcomes being withheld due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Some of them do not have a result because exams either did not happen or were We believe that these students, while may face a degree of uncertainty with respect to future, are not facing a very difficult problem. Recruiters or universities would, in all likelihood, extrapolate the final performance by extrapolating the continued performance through the year and base their decisions accordingly. The only challenge is when they would start their next innings? Hence, they should patiently wait while staying in touch with their prospective universities. Any clarity as to the decision-making process and entry factors would come as soon as the Covid-19 pandemic impact recedes and life returns to normalcy. Be on the lookout for new information and make sure that you are able to position yourself very quickly in line with that so that you don’t lose out when things start to move. 2. Students one year away from school or college-leaving exams (Photo: Reuters) These students are in a BIGGER quandary because of the Covid-19 pandemic because not only their education process is disrupted, but they also face a big challenge of proving themselves for their next journey. In the absence of hard academic indicators such as grades and marks, many of these students find themselves in a situation where they are unable to differentiate themselves and lack a cohesive framework to get themselves ready for the jobs and education tasks they face next. We recommend that these students focus on building those CV-building activities which can be marketed well and position them in an affirmative manner. Many schools, especially those which are outside India, and jobs ANYWAYS focus on a holistic profile. Students should therefore focus on those pieces which are aligned to their interests and strengths and through demonstrable projects showcase their skills in those areas. A great platform to look for those projects is the idea and project library, ACadru Others can be found through your teachers and mentors. 3. Education disruption All other students who are away from such outcome-dependent situations such as above also face severe education disruption. In response to the Covid-19 scare, many schools have moved online and parents seem to have assumed the role of teachers and are fast becoming savvy with resources created for home-schoolers to cause minimal disruption to their children’s education. Again, while there are a ton of fantastic resources which are available, there are not too many resources which mimic the school that is, provide for multidisciplinary learning, encourage connections across different domains and inspire ideas which help a child develop 21st century skills and PREPARE themselves for the jobs of the future. Have a look at mentored leaning tools which can help you navigate through such complex possibilities for your learning and seamlessly transition to a home-based, tech-enabled learning environment. No doubt, that the Covid-19 pandemic has unleashed the biggest calamity that humanity has faced so far. We all are going through perhaps the most trying circumstances of our lives. |
