Answer» Answer: The Tiger King Introduction
The story is a satire on the rich and powerful kings of the olden times. In order to prove the prophecies of the fortune teller wrong, the king of Pratibandapuram mindlessly kills ninety nine tigers but the hundredth one, the cause of the king’s death escapes his bullet. Ultimately, the king is killed by an inanimate tiger made of wood. Hence, the PROPHECY turns to be true, despite the king’s efforts to prove it wrong. Explanation: The Tiger King Lesson Explanation THE Maharaja of Pratibandapuram is the hero of this story. He may be identified as His Highness Jamedar-General, Khiledar-Major, Sata Vyaghra Samhari, Maharajadhiraja VISVA Bhuvana Samrat, Sir Jilani JUNG Jung Bahadur, M.A.D., A.C.T.C., or C.R.C.K. But this NAME is often shortened to the Tiger King. The writer introduces the main character of the story – the king of Pratibandapuram. The king is a hero due to his bravery. He is given a list of titles to emphasize on his greatness. To sum up all the titles in one, the king is CALLED “The Tiger King”. The reason for him being called so shall be revealed in the lesson ahead. |

How the John donne glorify and immortalized his love in the poem " the sunne rising" |
|
Answer» Ironically, Shakespeare both GLORIFIES and immortalizes the "young man" in "Sonnet 18" through the poetic verse itself. This echos the theme "Sonnet 18" which is eternal beauty through verse. This is known as possibly "the" best of Shakespeare's sonnets beginning with the immortal line, "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" It is one of the MANY sonnets written to the elusive "young man," who everyone is always wondering about. In regards to exactly "how" Shakespeare goes about glorifying and immortalizing, that answer is closely RELATED to theme. At the beginning of the poem, the young man is said to be "more lovely and more temperate" than a day in the season of summer. The speaker then immediately gives many examples of negative summer day issues such as WIND, longevity, and heat. By the end of the poem, it is clear that the reason why "thy eternal summer shall not fade" is precisely because Shakespeare has written this poem. Published poetic verse truly does lend immortality to the subject it's written about. Therefore, the theme of "Sonnet 18" is summed up the best in the last two lines: So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, / So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. Essay on my family trip to a hill station was cancelled due to some problem which make me unhappy |
|
Answer» Answer:
A VISIT to a hill station Essay No. 01 During my last summer vacation, I paid a visit to Shimla where my elder brother lives. He is a forest officer there. I planned to go there in summer as the plains at that time are very hot. I boarded the Kalka Mail at Amritsar on the 15th of June. Our train REACHED Kalka at 5:30 next morning. Then I changed for Shimla. Our journey to Shimla was through hilly area. The train took a zig-zag track. The air was cool, fresh and pleasant. I felt that it was quite different from the scorching heat of Amritsar. The scenery on the either side of railway track was very charming. The train passed through several tunnels. I reached Shimla at about 2 p.m. My elder brother and my sister in law were at the Shimla station to receive me. Then we hired a coolie and went to my brother’s residence.
I saw various places. I saw roller skating in the skating hall. It was a new thing for me. I also saw the skating ring at the Annandale grounds. I visited the Ridge and the Mall every evening. I also visited Mash bra, Yahoo, Summer Hill and Tara Devi. At Tara Devi I saw monkeys of various sizes and shapes. It was quite amusing to watch them. I also visited places like thereof and chili I went out for long walk every morning and evening. I inhaled the healthful mountain air. Going up and coming downhill gave me a good exercise. This exercise increased my hanger. I did full justice to my FOOD during my stay at Shimla. I went out for long walk every morning and evening. I inhaled the healthful mountain air.
