Write an essay on the expansion of Islam a

Answer»

Explanation:

Islam is known as one of the fastest-expanding RELIGIONS in history. Only contained in Arabia in 632, its conquests led to its expansion to Persia and Egypt by 656, and to Africa, Spain, and other parts of Persia by 750. Many methods were used in order to spread to such an extensive empire.

Muslims were very reasonable people. They were tolerant, and offered many alternatives to the other religions of conquered lands. Mohammed once stated that another religion can either believe in Islam, or pay to keep his own religion. He would give the religions protection in exchange for obedience. Mohammed, however, threatens the lives of children or elders related to those who did not obey (Document1). This was one of his most powerful methods of obtaining new lands.

Another method used by Mohammed was that he offered many reasons to other religions as to why they should convert to Islam. First and foremost, he offered them direction and guidance to heaven, which, alongside Muslims, was an eagerly anticipated place by Christians and Jews (Document 2). The writer of History of Arabs (Document 3) describes the Muslim people as those who consider each other equals under Allah, and who worship him to the FULLEST. They would rather be in heaven with him than a child under him on earth.

The expansion of Islam was also OBVIOUSLY obtained by means of conquering lands around Arabia. The impression of surrounding lands on the Muslim army is that they were strong, determined, relentless fighters who conquered any land they pleased. They had countless weapons and a drive that could cut through thick steel (Document 4). Despite these characteristics, however, they would only fight upon attack, in self defense (Document 6). The expansion of Islam was viewed by many as the most reasonable expansion of any religion.

Explanation:

Money, Convert Paise into Rupee, Class 5 Mathematics

May 5, 2019 by Mamta

Money and Conversion of Money into Paise and Rupee

In this chapter – Money for Class 5, we will be solving problems involving money. We will learn to convert Paise into RUPEES and Rupees into Paise. Let’s learn some BASIC facts first.

100 paise = 1 rupee

Therefore, 1 paise = ONE-hundredth of a rupee = 1/100 rupee = 0.01 rupee

Similarly, 2 paise = 0.02 rupee, 3 paise = 0.03 rupee, 4 paise = 0.04 rupee and so on.

Also, 20 paise = 0.20 rupee, 30 paise = 0.30 rupee, 40 paise = 0.40 rupee and so on.

and, 100 paise = 1.00 rupee, 125 paise = 1.25 rupee, 150 paise = 1.50 rupee, 200 paise = 2.00 rupee

We should always USE 2 digits to express paise.

For example, 1 paise as 0.01, 5 paise as 0.05, 75 paise as 0.75

In this chapter we will learn how to write rupees and paise in decimals.

For example:20 rupees 5 paise = ₹ 20.05 [We will read it as rupees twenty decimal zero five]65 rupees 25 paise = ₹ 65.25 [We will read it as rupees sixty five decimal two five]125 rupees 50 paise = ₹ 125.50 [We will read it as rupees one hundred twenty five decimal five zero]

Convert Paise into Rupees

To convert paise into rupees put decimal point after 2 digits from the right.

Example 1:Convert 25 paise into rupees.

25 paise = 25/100 = ₹ 0.25

Example 2:Convert 150 paise into rupees.

150 paise = 100 paise + 50 paise = ₹ 1 + ₹ 0.50 = ₹ 1.50

Example 3:Convert 1275 paise into rupees.

1275 paise = 1200 paise + 75 paise = ₹ 12 + ₹ 0.75 = ₹ 12.75

100 paise = 1 rupee

Therefore, 1 paise = One-hundredth of a rupee = 1/100 rupee = 0.01 rupee

Similarly, 2 paise = 0.02 rupee, 3 paise = 0.03 rupee, 4 paise = 0.04 rupee and so on.

Also, 20 paise = 0.20 rupee, 30 paise = 0.30 rupee, 40 paise = 0.40 rupee and so on.

and, 100 paise = 1.00 rupee, 125 paise = 1.25 rupee, 150 paise = 1.50 rupee, 200 paise = 2.00 rupee500 paise + Rupees 500 — Rupees 315 and 5 paise
