When was Ramayana wrote ?

Answer»

There are different views about the time the Ramayana was written. Some people believe that it was written 2,500 years ago (around 500 BC). OTHERS THINK that it was written around 1,800 years ago. All agree that the book is very old and was written before the Mahabharata.

Although it's conception is still a point of debate. The CHARACTERS of Rama, Laxman, Sita, Dashratha etc. are well known in the later vedic works which are older than Valmiki himself. Although the vedas present no such story as mentioned in the Ramayana by Valmiki.

But when the positioning of Planets is analysed with Planetarium Software, the birth date of Lord Rama comes to 10th January, 5114 BC.

What is meant by trade barrier? why do governments use it? explain in simple words

Answer»

Hey MATE your answer

A barrier to trade is a government-imposed restraint on the flow of international goods or services. The most common barrier to trade is a tariff—a TAX on imports. ... SUBSIDIES make those goods cheaper to produce than in foreign markets. This results in a lower domestic price.

Textiles, apparel and footwear are the manufactured goods which are most commonly protected by trade barriers. ... National firms often lobby their own governments to enact REGULATIONS that are designed to keep out foreign firms, and modern trade deals are one way to do away with such regulations.

Why was Land Ceiling Act not been implemented effectively?

Answer»

Intermediaries LIKE Zamindars, Talukdars, Jagirs and Inams had dominated the agricultural sector in India by the time the country attained independence. QUITE NATURALLY top priority was accorded to the abolition of INTERMEDIARY tenures. Congress had long ago been committed to the idea of the removal of intermediaries between the peasant and State.

Soon after independence, measures for the abolition of the Zamindari system were adopted in different states. The first Act to abolish intermediaries was PASSED in Madras in 1948. Since then, state after state passed legislation abolishing Zamindari rights.

The Orissa Estates Abolition Act was passed in 1951. By 1955, the progress for the abolition of intermediaries had been completed in almost all the states.

Explain colonial rule and income inequalities as causes of poverty

One of the historical reasons for poverty is the low level of ECONOMIC development under the British colonial administration. The policies of the colonial government ruined traditional HANDICRAFTS and discouraged development of industries like textiles. Write a note on the topic water as part of the fundamental right to life explain any three points

Answer»

For most countries, the lack of explicit reference to a right to water in the national legislation necessitates creativity in enforcing the right through the courts.

In MANY such countries, cases have been BROUGHT under environmental or public health legislation or courts have interpreted the right to water under other constitutional RIGHTS, such as the right to life or a healthy environment.

In India, where the right to water is not enshrined as a FUNDAMENTAL right in the national Constitution, courts at both state and federal level have interpreted Article 21 of the Constitution, the right to life, as encompassing the right to safe and sufficient water and SANITATION.

collet the official data about present and a decade old population of various Asian countries and plot a graph of that data with the help of it draw your conclusion about demographic change

Answer»

DEMOGRAPHIC transition is the transition from high birth and death rates to lower birth and death rates as a country or region develops from a pre-industrial to an industrialized economic system

Demographic CHANGES can affect GDP growth through several channels. First, lower growth in POPULATION directly implies reduced labor input. Second, lower population growth has an indirect potentially negative impact on individual labor supply insofar as it leads to HIGHER tax rates which reduce the incentive to work

How do we study society in 500words

Answer»

A good SOCIETY is one where nobody is jealous of anyone. Nobody interferes in others matter. Nobody gossips about other couples. Nobody judges a person by his/ her bank balance. A place where people are encouraged to pursue their dreams. A place where women are highly respected. A place where nobody is bothered with activities of others ( obviously if it is not affecting the person ). A place where POLITENESS exists. A place where people help each other. A place where happiness exists. This is what I call a good society.

It doesn't exist but may be what everyone is looking for. It is highly responsive to its habitants and progressive in the nature of its existence.
A good society is one where an equilibrium is maintained, AMONG humans and between humans and their environment.
This equilibrium is hard to achieve nonetheless achievable. This would require alot of effort. This does not mean that only people of the same ideologies must become PART of a society only then can we achieve a ‘good society’. It requires to strike a balance between two different opinions. It requires people to have a liberal outlook, with room for understanding contradictory opinions. Acceptance of each other remains the ley element to a society that strives to be perfect. However the daunting reality strikes in the form of capitalism and strikes an IMBALANCE in the equilibrium.
Humans must realize. Its high time!!
