Answer» Some solutions listed here. Hope it helps.Several technologies are used for anticipating and assessing the negative impact of: Landslides and earthquakesStorms Extreme temperatures FLOODS EpidemicsOne of the key things is to enhance prediction of weather globally in order to reduce those impacts that it has on the population, allowing populations to be more resilient in the face of high impact weatherPredictive solutions for earthquakes now make use of artificial intelligence and machine learning, technologies capable of processing and interpreting a large quantity of data. Forecasting models use complex algorithms that can assess the onset, duration and demise of an upcoming heat wave. One such model was developed in INDIA, at the Indian INSTITUTE of Tropical Meteorology. Floods caused by natural causes, such as increased rainfall or storms, can also be predicted with sophisticated technological models. Artificial intelligence can help technologists better interpret a growing amount of data and create forecasting models that can automatically ALERT authorities. In September 2019 Google announced it had begun implementing a flood forecasting model in the Indian region of Patna.Several METHODS are currently used to forecast the spread of particular emerging epidemics. Forecasting models can identify hot spots of emerging diseases and predict trends regarding where the problem is most likely to expand. |

Write about the Falaj- Irrigation System in UAE (3 pages) |
Answer» Aflaj is an Arabic word which means ‘split into parts.’ The system evenly divides water between farms and therefore it is known as Falaj. It refers to an underground channel that ensures the supply of water to the crops. It is an ancient irrigation system that has been an integral part of Al Dakhliya, Al Batinah and Al Sharqiyah REGIONS in Oman since 500 AD. The FAMOUS Al Ain Aflaj system is reported to have existed from around 1000 years BC, making it the oldest in the region.Aflaj is dug deep in the earth, so it extracts water from underground sources such as wadis and wells. Water flows through the system by the force of gravity, without any intervention of machines. Water constantly streams in these water systems of the oasis. The flow increases during the rainy season in Oman. There are three major parts of this traditional irrigation network, including:UMM AL FALAJUmm Al Falaj refers to ‘the mother well’ in the Arabic language. It is the major source of water in the system.TUNNELThe tunnel delivers a large amount of subterranean water from Umm Al Falaj to its destination. It varies in length depending on the kind of place where the system RUNS, the amount of water and the shipping point.ACCESS SHAFTSShafts are BUILT at a 20-metre distance along the tunnel. They also have a ring of burnt clay that removes debris and helps in ventilation. The ring protects the channel from destruction in case the tunnel collapses and also prevents the falaj from flooding..... |

"The position of Prime Minister is supreme in parliament form of government justify" |
| Answer» PRIME Minister is SUPREME in parliamentary FORM of government.1. Article 74(1) of the Constitution states that there shall be a council of ministers with Prime Minister as its head to aid and advice the President who shall exercise his function in ACCORDANCE with advice tendered. Thus the real power is vested in council of ministers with Prime Minister as its head.2. The Prime Minister performs many significant functions in the Indian political system and exercises vast powers to his advantage. He is the chief executive of the nation and works as head of union Government.3. It is Prime Minister who recommends President regarding their appointment, he allocates and reshuffles various portfolios among minister, he presides over the meeting of council of ministers and influences their decision, he can ask any member to resign or recommend President to remove any minister. Hence on death or resignation of Prime Minister entire council of minister tends to collapse.4.Though President is head of the state, Prime Minister is head of the government. Describe the types of elections held in India |
Answer» India is a country, divided in states and union territories, with a parliamentary system governed under the Constitution of India, which defines the power distribution among the central government and the states. The President of India is the ceremonial head of the country and supreme commander-in-chief for all defence FORCES in India. [1]However, it is the Prime Minister of India, who is the leader of the party or political ALLIANCE having a majority in the national elections to the Lok Sabha, that exercises most executive powers for MATTERS that require countrywide affection under a federal system.India is regionally divided into States (and Union Territories) and each State has a Chief Minister who is the leader of the party or political alliance having won majority in the regional elections otherwise known as State Assembly Elections that exercises executive powers in that State. The respective State's Chief Minister has executive powers within the State and works jointly with the Prime Minister of India or his ministers on matters that require both State and Central attention. Some Union Territories also elect an Assembly and have a territorial government and other (mainly SMALLER) Union Territories are governed by a person appointed by the President of India. The President of India, monitors the rule of law through his appointed governors in each State and on their recommendation can take over the executive powers from the Chief Minister of the State, temporarily when the elected representatives of the State government has failed to create a peaceful environment and has deteriorated into CHAOS. The President of India dissolves the existing State government if necessary, and a new election is conducted.PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST!!!#ROADTOVIRTUOSO |

Bedas of halagali are not only hunters but also the true patriots of Karnataka Justify |
Answer» Explanation:Bedas of HalagaliOne of the fighting tribes which fought the British tooth and nail from 1820’s to 1942 and formed the backbone of many uprisings in the Deccan (comprising Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra) were Bedas who descended from hunters. They have been called Ramoshis, Berad, or Bedas, Boya, Dorabiddu and Valmiki in different areas.Bearing arms to protect themselves and the community and their king was part of their life and they did it with great pride. The prince of MUDHOL had accepted British overlordship and the Bedas in the area were seething with dissatisfaction. The East India Company announced on 11 September, 1857 that all Indians should disarm, submit their arms to the company and then get licences to carry arms. This was simply out of question for Bedas. Hence when the Company Sarkar’s edict was sought to be implemented by the King of Mudhol principality, the Bedas of Halagali and surrounding area considered it a great insult and defied him. They did not allow any official to enter their villages. They did not even allow an arms’ census to be taken and did not accept the offer that they will not be actually disarmed but will all be given licences to bear arms. They SAID, “Bearing arms is our birth right and why should we take anybody’s permission for the same?”The revolt, which started in a small village called Halagali, kept SNOWBALLING and started spreading to surrounding areas. The British Raj saw it as a serious threat to its rule and when the local ruler was not able to suppress it, Major Malcolm SUMMONED the southern Maratha regiment let by Lt Col Seton Karr. The bedas, though vastly outnumbered, fought fiercely for their RIGHTS. The British followed a scorched earth policy in the region and after the final battle captured 290 Bedas and hanged 19 leaders of the uprising in Mudhol market in December 1857 |
