Answer» The eye uses convex lens. 11Light is a mixture of seven colours. In air the lights travel at different speeds. When the light passes through a prism, it breaks it I to its constituent colours and therefore we can see a band of several colours called spectrum.This is the reason dispersion takes place in air and not possible in vacuum because in vacuum all lights travel at same speeds. 12Light helps us see things around us. We can see colours which are reflected to our eyes and we cannot see the colour which is absorbed.Therefore in dim light since no colour is reflected and colours are absorbed. Hence under dim light ever thing appears black. 13 |
