6. How does the mutual inductance of a pair of coilschange, when (i) distance between the coil is increasedand (ii) number of turns in the coils is inreased? |
|
Answer» (i)If the coils are further apart from one another, then the amount of magnetic flux from the first coil to the second coil would decrease, so the mutual inductance will decrease.(ii) mutual inductance is directly proportional to the number of turns. So if the number of turns is increased, the mutual inductance increases. |
