Pressure = Force / Area

substituting the given values

Here,

we can GET two ANSWERS:-

Brick is lying with area 30 CM × 10 cm in contact

so,

\frac{24}{0.3 \times 0.1}

so pressure will 800pa

Brick is lying with area 10 cm × 10 cm in contact

so,

\frac{24}{0.1 \times 0.1}

=2400pa
