1.

A cuboidal vessel is 10 cm long and 5 cm wide. How high it must be made to hold 300 cm3 of a liquid?

Answer»

Given,

Length of cuboidal vessel = 10 cm

Width = 5 cm

Volume of liquid in it = 300 cm3

Let height of vessel = h cm

So,

= l x b x h = 300

= h = \(\frac{300}{10\times 5}\) = 6 cm
