Using the formula

Average speed = 2V1V2/(V1 + V2)

Where

  • V1 : speed while going
  • V2 : speed while returning

→ Avg speed = 2(15)(10)/15 + 10

→ Avg speed = 300/25

Average speed = 12 km/h

Hence , average speed = 12 km/h
