<U>GIVEN:-

Intial velocity of boat(u) = 0

Acceleration (a) = 3.0m/s

Time (t) = 8sec

Distance COVERED (s) = ?

We know that s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}  {at}^{2}

s = 0  \times 8 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times ( {8})^{2}

= 0 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 3 \times 64 = <klux>96M</klux>

s = 96m

Ans:- Therefore, distance covered = 96m
