1.

A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 metre per second square. what distance will itcover in 10 seconds after start

Answer»

Answer:

given :-

INITIAL velocity = u = 0m/s

acceleration = 4m/s²

time = t = 10 SECONDS

by THIRD equation of motion we get,

➡ s = ut + 1/2 at²

therefore the distance covered by the car after 10 seconds = ut + 1/2 at²

= (0 × 10) + 1/2 × 4 × (10)²

= 2 × 100

= 200m

hence, the distance covered by the racing car after 10 seconds is 200m.
