★ If a constant VOLTAGE (DC) is applied across a capacitor that is not charged, it CHARGES up to some value decided by the voltage and the capacitance (Q=CV).

★ A current will flow until the capacitor is FULLY charged, thus dq/dt exists during charging process.

★ That's why CAPACITORS are said to block DC.
