The Shilling was the currency of the Austria from 1925 to 1938 and from 1945 to 1999 and it was circulated untill the year 2002. The National Bank issued Shilling notes in 1945 and COINS were issued in 1946. Euro was INTRODUCED to the world financial markets on January 1st 1999.
