(ii) These industries are different from each other on following basis: (a) Agro Based industries: Draws their raw materials from agricultural products. e.g.: Textiles-Cotton, jute, silk and woollen. Rubbel sugar; coffee, iea and edible oil etc. (b) Mineral Based Industries: Draws their raw materials from minerals. e.g., Iron and steel, cement, machine tools, petro chemicals etc.
