Define fluid friction. How can the fluid friction be minimised |
|
Answer» Fluid frictionisdefinedas viscosity. Basically, it is thefrictionexerted by one layer to another layer of same or differentfluid. Gases and liquids, both arefluids. But gases move faster from one place to another because of their less viscosity orfluid ionizing the fluid can be one option as the similar charge will defenitely help us to some extenct to minimize friction but isn’t a practical solution. On practical basis try to reduce the viscosity(the forces that fight against the free flow of liquid) of fluid by chemical means or by diluting it or by varying it’s temperature depending upon how your fluid reacts to those changes. |
