Answer» Solution :The molecular FORMULA of water is `H_(2)O` Atomic MASS of H = 1 Atomic mass of O = 16. `THEREFORE` molecular mass of water = (2 `xx` atomic mass of H ) + (1 `xx` atomic mass of O) `= 2 xx 1 + 1xx 16 = 18`. So , molecular mass of water = 18 AMU .
