1.

Difference between classical and quantum mechanics

Answer»

Classical MECHANICS is a branch of physicsthat deals with the motion of bodies based on Isaac Newton's laws of mechanics. Classical mechanics describes the motion of point masses (infinitesimally small objects) and of rigid bodies (LARGE objects that rotate but cannot change shape). In brief, the main difference between quantum and classical PHYSICS is thedifference between a ramp and a staircase. In classical mechanics, events (in general) are continuous, which is to say they move in SMOOTH, orderly and predicable patterns. Projectile motion is a good example ofclassical mechanics
