Answer» Production planning is the most important activity for any enterprise because other functional areas of MANAGEMENT i.e. financing, marketing, personnel revolve around it. Production planning involves plans RELATED to transforming raw material into finished product. Production planning is concerned with the FIXING of production goals and to estimate the resources which are required to ACHIEVE these goals effectively and efficiently without WASTING the resources.
