Answer» VIRTUAL Machine DISK (VMDK) is an open file format by VMware which is used to store the content of virtual hard disks. In vSphere 5.5 and LATER versions, it can be up to 62 TB in size. Earlier, VMware PRODUCTS used the EXTENSION .dsk to store content or data or virtual disk files. |
