Here, a = 12, d = 16 – 12 = 4 Since, 

tn = a + (n – 1)d 

∴ t24 = 12 + (24 – 1)4 

= 12 + 23 × 4 

= 12 + 92 

∴ t24 = 104 

∴ 24th term of the given A.P. is 104.
