farmers,

they produce food, ie, cattle, fruit , vegetables, DAIRY, wheat, corn, sugar, RICE etc,

but i guess you could SAY, they consume LAND...

mcdonnalds,

they sell to you, but they buy from other companies. like, the chicken for their burgers,

the buns, the potatos for the FRIES etc.
