Answer» I wouldn’t buy FCP7 unless you had a job GUARANTEEING that it would be paid for. I just don’t see speeding money on FCP7 when we know it’s dead. The Adobe CS suite would be an easy choice but also FCPX as it’s so affordable. But the perfect editor toolbox would INCLUDE Avid Media Composer as there are a lot of Media Composer INSTALLS out there and if you’re freelance you never know when you’re going to get the call to USE it.
