1.

In a certain formation, Sushil stands fifth to the left in a row of boys and Mohamed stands sixth from the right, If the two boys interchange their positions, Sushil would be thirteenth from the left. What will be the Mohamed’s position from the right?1. 142. 133. 124. 7

Answer» Correct Answer - Option 1 : 14

Position of Sushil from the left = 5th

Position of Mohamed from the right = 6th

On interchanging their positions,

Position of Sushil from the right =6th

Position of Mohamed from the left =5th

and, Position of Sushil from the left after interchanging = 13th

Total number of boys in the formation =Position of Sushil from the left after interchanging +Position of Sushil from the right - 1

= 13 + 6 - 1

= 19 - 1

=18

Again,Total number of boys in the formation = 18

Position of Mohamed from the left +Position of Mohamed from the right after interchanging - 1 = 18

⇒5 +Position of Mohamed from the right after interchanging - 1 = 18

⇒4 +Position of Mohamed from the right after interchanging = 18

⇒Position of Mohamed from the right after interchanging = 18 - 4 = 14th

Hence, Mohamed is 14th from the right.
