1.

In the circuit below resistors R1 & R2 are in Series & have resistance of 5ohm & 10ohm respectively. The voltage across resistor R1 is equal to 4v. Find the current passing through resistor R2 voltage across the same resistor.(class 10)(no spams)

Answer»

Answer :

Given :

Two resistors have resistance 5 ohm and 10 ohm .

Voltage accross R1 (5 ohm) = 4v

they are in series connection.

Solution :

We know that,

V = iR

by PUTTING values

4 = 5 i

i = \frac{4}{5} \: ampere

for R2

V = i × R2

V = \frac{4}{5} \times 10

\leadsto \bold{V = 8 \: Volts}
