Answer»

LET J’s investment be = X

Let K’s investment be = Y

Let L’s investment be = Z

According to the problem,

2X = 5Y

⇒ Y = 2X/5---- (1)

According to the problem,

⇒ Y = 2Z---- (2)

From (1) and (2) we GET,

⇒ 2Z = 2X/5

⇒ Z = X/5---- (3)

∴ Ratio of investment of J, K and L

⇒ X : 2X/5 : X/5 = 5 : 2 : 1

∴ J’s SHARE in this PROFIT, = 16800 × (5/8) = 10500
