let the acceleration of the smaller body be 'a' and its mass be 'm'

then according to the question

MA=ma

or, A/a=1/2

also since the bodies start from rest and their displacements are the same therefore using the second equation of motion we get

1/2AT^2= 1/2at^2

where T and t are respectively the time taken by the larger and smaller bodies respectively to cover the distance.Thus we get

T^2/t^2 =2/1

or,T/t=2/1

Thus the ratio required is 2:1
