Using the formula 1/f = 1/v - 1/u

Given u = - 180 cm, v = - 80 cm1/f = - 1/80 + 1/160 = - 1/160

f = - 160 cm

Power = 1/f( in metres) = - 1/1.60 = - 0.625 D

A concave lens of focal length 4 m should be used.​
