Q4. Enlist advantages of USB Keyboard over PS2 keyboard.

Answer»

One big one: PS/2 is a "port" while USB is a "bus" The difference is a port is designed to connect a single device, while a bus is designed to connect many devices together. I currently have about 5 USB devices connected to my computer. They can all be connected to a single USB host controller using a hub. With PS/2 I'd need a separate connector for each device. An artifact of port and bus design is that buses tend to support clients connecting and disconnecting (hot-swap), while ports are typically designed to be connected at startup and stay connected.
