Answer» Solution :1. When the GRAINS are stored for later USE, they are affected due to two factors, viz., abiotic factors and biotic factors. 2. Abiotic factors are moisture PRESENT in the grains,humidity of the surrounding AIR, unsuitable temperature, adverse environmental conditions, ETC. 3. Biotic, factors are microbes, fungi, insects, rodents, birds, etc. Mishandling and improper methods of storage by humans also become biotic factor for the loss. |
