Answer» Solution :(i) These UMBRELLA - LIKE organisms are called gilled mushrooms which are edible spore-producing fruiting BODIES. These organisms are fungi and they grow on decaying ORGANIC matter (ii) No , all species of mushrooms are not edible as some as some of these species are HIGHLY poisonous. Agaricus compestris is a common edible mushroom (iii) Mushroom are rich in minerals, vitamins, etc.
