Answer» (II) Bat does not require sharp vision for its flight. It flies through ecolocation or SENDING echo waves that are INTERPRETED to known the obstacles. Bat thus ''sees through its ears''. (iii) Bat feeds on nocturnal flying insects such as moths. The insects are located through sound waves produced by them. Feeding on insects acts as BIOLOGICAL control on the population of night flying insects. It is a rule of nature which keeps ecological balance. |
