Answer» ANYONE out there know of company that could retrieve files from old 5.25 floppys?? Got some files I'd like to COPY to newer format... Or can I PLUG a 5.25 in a win98 pc and retrieve them? thanks, gabrielIf you have a drive, mount it as drive B on your existing system. Normally you do this by connecting it to the middle CONNECTOR of a floppy cable and to power, and IDENTIFYING it manually in BIOS (13cm 1200K byte floppy). Then you read it like any other floppy. Win9x, DOS, and WinXP all use FAT filesystem for floppies. |
