Solve:\(5x-\frac{1}{3}(x+1)=6(x+\frac{1}{30})\)5x - 1/3 (x + 1) = 6(x + 1/30)

Answer»

\(5x-\frac{1}{3}(x+1)=6(x+\frac{1}{30})\)

Taking LCM on both the sides

\(\frac{15x-(x+1)}{3}=\frac{6(30x+1)}{30}\)

By cross multiplication

⇒ 10(14x - 1) = 6(30x + 1)

⇒ 140x - 180x = 6 + 10

⇒ - 40x = 16

⇒ \(\text{x}=-\frac{2}{5}\)
