Solve : Account issue??

Answer»

Hey guys....ummm I own a desktop that contains 3 user account, one is for me, another one is for my parents and guest (which is currently switch off at the moment) and now i have found another one which is called "ASP.NET Machine A...'s"  :-? very weird!! I cant see it when the computer starts, only can view it through control panel - user accounts.

Can anyone TELL me if this is a bad thing, because I never seen one of these before.

Thanks GuysIt's a legitimate service running in the background that the OS needs for certain tasks...

patio.  8-)The Guru is quite right.  I am a Newbie, so I will test my new found knowledge by stating what I recently learned on my own.

Go to Start>
Search>
All Files and Folders:
Type your DESIRED file; ASP.NET
It will direct you to it's source.  I learned how to determine what all files are running (especially in the "Task Manager").  You have to FIND out what they are, by going to a file extenstion dictionary.

What I don't understand and would ASK the mothership to explain is.... Why does it show up as an account--to be managed?  If it is an essential property of the OS, it should be just in the background.  You should never have to notice it just like the other million things your PC does just to operate.

Could that "essential" file be apparent now because someone is doing something clandestine?

I'm the same newbie.  I failed to recognise the first time reading your question that ASP.NET is followed by the word "Machine".  Are they connected (ASP.NET MACHINE)?    WELL I learned my own lesson, just Google it first.  It can be *censored* being my own teacher.
