Not my PERSONAL opinion, but the general consensus. The new version is said to work well with WINDOWS 10. Perhaps we should add that it's a 30-day free trial. After that, it must be purchased. Seagate HDD's ship with Acronis...not sure why you mentionrd WD...I already have a WD, But not ready to buy a new Seagate.
