Answer» Hello everyone,, I booted the PC this morning and it was telling me I needed to update my Adobe Flash Player, which I did. I saw no mention of this MCAFEE Security Scan Plus until the DOWNLOAD was complete. I immediately uninstalled the McAfee but now I'm not happy about having the Adobe Flash Player on my system. Is there an alternative piece of software I could USE that does not sneak in UNWANTED programs onto my computer by the BACK door?Hi It is ticked in the middle box on the download page you have to un tick it if you don't want to install McAfee . This is the price of free software.
