Answer» I just purchased a Verizon air card for broad band connection. Does the card or the wireless connection protect against VIRUSES and worms etc I heard that a ROUTER will block all intrusions ??Most routers have a NAT (network address translation) firewall. That's a good first step, but mostly against hacking, not viruses, worms or other malware. You also need a good Anti Virus utility installed and you need to MAKE sure it always has the latest virus DEFINITIONS.
