Answer» I recently installed the latest version of Firefox, 3.6. It wasn't running quite as well as before but it was tolerable. Then I set up a Firefox add-on, recommended by PC World and things then WENT really downhill. Everything runs exceedingly SLUGGISH. It takes five or more times as LONG to view an email, and EVEN longer to send one! I since got rid of the add-on, but things have not improved. By the way, I do have a dial-up connection to the Internet but things have never been as BAD as this. The situation is even worse considering that I have to use the Internet to search for a job. Thanks for any advice.Uninstall 3.6 and install an earlier version (or reinstall 3.6 after first uninstalling it).
