Solve : Anyone know??

Answer»

I can hold down the CTRL key, and click the text of topics, or hold down the CTRL key, and click individual replies to topics like clicking icons on my desktop on this forum. Does anyone know what its for? It does not seem to be for moderational* actions, so I am not sure what to think.

*Moderational is not a real word... moderating is
If i hold down the CTRL key and click a topic, it opens up a new tab. That's how I look through UNREAD topics.

(firefox by the way)If I hold down the CTRL key and click a topic it maximizes my text
display. Internet Explorer 7....... Not clicking on the Links, but the topics themselves.
A screenshot is below:

I marked all selected items with connected dots, notice how they are outline? No MATTER what I click on while holding down

Are you holding down the CTRL key and using the SCROLL wheel?
I am just holding down control, and normally clicking the non-link PARTS of topics

I've been wondering if thats what it is. If you click on individual topic replies, you can select the signature area, the avatar area, and the topic itself, but if you select outside that area, your previous selections disappear. Exactly. This is how CTRL works (with different functions). It's a selective key. For instance, in Windows Explorer, you can select non-consecutive files by holding CTRL, and clicking.
