Solve : Anyone knows what this means??

I'm not SURE if this is the right place to post this, but I reallly need some help with a computer issue. I have a video service called Graboid on my computer. Something happened yesterday and I don't know what it was, but now I can't GET on to my Graboid program. I try to click on the window for that program and this is the message I get from my computer:

Unhandled Application Exception In Client - An error occurred creating the form. See Exception.InnerException for details. The error is: Unable to get the window handle for the 'AxVLCPlugin' control. Windowless Active X controls are not supported. - InnerException Message: Unable to get the window handle for the 'AxVLCPlugin' control. Windowless Active X controls are not supported. - Stack Trace: at s.b.Create_Instance_{J} (T Instance)

This is what it says word for word. My husband and I can't make heads or tails of it. My husband has TRIED different things with Microsoft Visual Basics and Active X and I even took off Graboid and downloaded it again, but still the same thing. Does anybody have a clue as to what all that computer LANGUAGE is saying because we are lost here? HELP PLEASE! We can't even get on to Graboid to do anything at all.

Thanks!

Would have been helpful to know what. It may be an clash between VLC and Graboid. Did you know there is a whole Graboid Community out there? This link may help.

Good luck. Thank you sooo much! You actually helped me so much more than you probably realize. The moment you mentioned the two different ELEMENTS of Graboid and VLC, which I wasn't completely familiar with, I mentioned this to Tom and he then told me that VLC was a part of the Graboid program. You see I thought it was our video program and didn't remove it along with Graboid when I tried to download it again. So this time I removed both the Graboid and VLC components and then downloaded them again and voila-- I've got Graboid back! Thank you. Thank you.

DeannaI'm happy everything worked out. I gotta tell ya, I just love that name Graboid. I have these visions of....oh never mind. Quote from: Sidewinder on December 20, 2008, 06:42:10 PM
