Solve : Anything superior to MPEG-4 AVC/H.264??

If I calculate, it would take too long to upload AVC/H.264 encoded by x264 on YouTube. They are two 10-minute clips with a RESOLUTION of 1280x720. If it was 320x240, it wouldn't take too long but I need HD for best graphics quality.
Is there anything better than H.264? (even if it is not supported by YouTube since I will ask YT and FFMPEG to support it)How do you connect to the internet?  And what's your speed both up and down?

If you really need 720p you may just have to put up with SLOW uploads or upgrade to a FASTER connection.Anything better is not here yet.
