Answer» Has anyone seen any effects of the conficker worm yet? I've seen some strange activity so far, LIKE on my VISTA machine which is in safe mode GIVING me a million error messages saying not supported in safe mode, and my xp machine's cpu fan increasing speed constantly so now it sounds like a jet unlike it's usual nearly silent hum and my cpu temp is decreasing dramatically cause of it. Anyone else see anything?lol it's not April first here yet. give it another two and a half hours. I predict I will see nothing myself, though.I'm SECONDING that. I bet nothing happens.Does anyone remember the yk2 scare? Nothing much happened then I don't think anything much will happen April 1st. Would not be surprised if it was a 'April FOOLS Joke'OMG! my computer melted! Oh wait- sorry... false alarm.Something definitely happening here. My computer is faster now on line.
