Solve : audio cds?

Answer»

If I BURN songs to CD-RW media, does that work in CD players, or do I have to use CD-R disc.

I'm guessing most cd players want a cd - or + r disc that has been "finalized", but you can try finalizing a cd-rw disc - NEWER players may accept it.thx

just bought come cd-r media and now the recordings are working in my cd boom box.

I actually just started the chapter in Upgrading & Repairing PCs, on Optical Media, but I'll take any other help I can get.. Quote from: Allan on December 06, 2009, 07:21:21 AM

My Phillips CD player that I bought in 2000 accepts finalized CD-RWs. If I use Nero to create an AUDIO CD, the finalize option is set by default. While I was Googling for facts about unfinalized audio CDs, I came across a whole bunch of posts about a pastor who had GIVEN an "awesome sermon" (!) the previous Sunday; however the CD recorder being USED to capture it had a fault whereby it would not finalize discs...
