Solve : audio issue?

Answer» 3.0Ghz Celeron/1GB RAM Windows XP home. Any audio PLAYING on my pc is glitchy. CD's, I tunes files, or streaming audio using WMP, Real Player, whatever... I can hear it cuting in and out slowing down ECT... If i allow it to play for a while it eventually gets BETTER but for the first 20sec or so it sounds like garbage. Never used to happen. Please help!Let's start off with something simple...have you tried using different speakers? What about headphones?
