Solve : Autorebooting! OH NOES! Plz Help!?

Answer»

About a month ago, my computer shut it self down for apparantly no reason. Now, ever time I TRY to boot it up, it starts to load windows and then auto reboots itself and give me a safe mode prompt. Regardless of which OPTION I choose, it still does the same thing, starts to load windows and reboots itself. I dunno what the PROBLEM is and I'm hoping to find some help before spending rediculous amounts of money to take it to a repair shopIs this a laptop or a desktop?desktop using, WINXP homeBoot into safe mode.
Go to Control Panel/System/Advanced/Startup and Recovery...
Uncheck "auto restart on errors" ...save and exit.
The next time you will get a BSOD...post the entire message here including the gibberish...Can't boot into safe mode, keeps RESETTING even from there, and no I don't have a disk, bout to rip my house appart lookin for it thoughWhen was the last time you blew the dust out of your computer with a can of compressed AIR?Boot to the XP CD and choose the FIRST repair option (it will take you to the recovery console). Once there, run chkdsk /r - let it complete, it may take a while. Then reboot and let us know what happens.
