Answer» Some of you might remember i posted a question about goot TABLETS to buy and i got some redirects from that BUT when i saw an AD for an RM Tatung Tablet for £60 , i couldnt resist. So i bought that and IM now using it in school and at home too/ Its great for taking notes and red alert 2 is very good as a BREAK filler.
Everything is working , OS fully installed and all features appear to work (including the function buttons!) and after a wee bit of playing with microsoft journal i decided to install red alert 2 onto the tablet , which worked fine , so i ventured deeper into games that could work. Age of Empires 1 + 2 , Tropico 1 , Microsoft Tablet Power Toys (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/tabletpc.mspx) , inkball games like that.
Those all worked absolutely fine! so i ventured EVEN DEEPER
I then started to find some things start to slow down a bit:
Homeworld 2 - lowest settings - slow but not unplayable Warrior Kings - works fine on lowest setting but cant use right mouse button
Heres the specs of the tablet
900MHz Intel Celeron 512MB RAM (upgraded) 40GB HD S3 IV Graphics (OpenGL / Direct3D / not sure about DirectX)
tablet runs Red Alert 2 very very well. I can successfully run Warrior Kings and Homeworld 2 (but framerates are choppy) BUT the right mouse button does not work with a tablet (right click is difficult with my tablet since it doesent have a right mouse button button so i can only click and HOLD which isnt suitable at all for rts games.
Up till now ive been using RTS Games.org (http://rtsgames.org/) and im still browsing it. but now im looking for suggestions. What games were good and which were bad back in 1995 > 2003 pc wise XD
So basically the only requirements is that game has to be mouse only (point/click type interface) no use of shift key or ctrl key or whatever. just pure mouse control.
Age of empires worked with right mouse button but i changed it to work with only left mouse button by selecting the option in the options menu (single button mouse i think it was) , just FYI
Thanks in advance,
jimbo8098You could try earlier Command & Conquer games as well- Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert 1, Tiberian Sun, etc.it hasn't been released yet, but I hear there will be a game of Perigon you'll be able to play.
