Answer» JUST A QUICK COMMENT ON 3D TV DON'T KNOW WHETHER I CAN TALK BOUT IT BY HOPE, BUT I WILL ANYWAY. I FEEL ALL THE BIG COMPANY'S HAVE MADE A MASSIVE MISTAKE IN PUMPING MILLIONS OF £S INTO THE DEVELOPMENT OF 3D FOR TV. PPL ARE NOT GOING TO SIT IN THWIR OWN HOMES WITH THERE WIFE N KIDS(IN MY CASE) N WEAR THEM SILLY GLASSES, EVEN IF THEY LOOKED HALF RESPECTABLE, THEY WOULDN'T DO IT. IM AFRAID THEY HAVEN'T DONE THEIR HOMEWORK ON THIS ONE. IT WILL TAKE OFF BIG TIME AT THE CINEMA, BUT NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS AT HOME, UNTIL THEY FIND A WAY TO VIEW WITHOUT SPEXIs you CAPS button stuck? IT WILL TAKE OFF BIG TIME AT THE CINEMA, BUT NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS AT HOME, UNTIL THEY FIND A WAY TO VIEW WITHOUT SPEX Funny enough people said the same thing about phones and normal tv and we all see where that went. Quote I FEEL ALL THE BIG COMPANY'S HAVE MADE A MASSIVE MISTAKE IN PUMPING MILLIONS OF £S INTO THE DEVELOPMENT OF 3D FOR TV.And what about the big company's outside the UK? why would they be pumping £'s into anything? personally, I use the dollar (it looks like this: $). But, nitpicking your wording aside, do you have stakes in any of these companies? are you a shareholder? because if you aren't it shouldn't affect you if this "massive mistake" makes them tank. Quote PPL ARE NOT GOING TO SIT IN THWIR OWN HOMES WITH THERE WIFE N KIDS(IN MY CASE) N WEAR THEM SILLY GLASSES, EVEN IF THEY LOOKED HALF RESPECTABLE, THEY WOULDN'T DO IT.have you taken a survey? what were your results? remember, you can't say that the companies want you to become Nazi's, because that's called tainting the sample! don't do it! If you didn't go out and take a survey, then I'm afraid you are trying to project your own opinions as those of some fictitious set of people. Not cool. Quote IM AFRAID THEY HAVEN'T DONE THEIR HOMEWORK ON THIS ONE.I'm sure they have some actual data to work with and make decisions with. Quote IT WILL TAKE OFF BIG TIME AT THE CINEMA um... hello, it's already cinemas. it's been at theaters/cinemas for years. Quote BUT NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS AT HOME OK, but what about if, in three thousand years, everybody has a cinema in their house? what then? Quote UNTIL THEY FIND A WAY TO VIEW WITHOUT SPEX I suspect your opinion is based in part on a childhood trauma that gave you an unnatural fear of spectacles and other eye wear. perhaps you saw your uncle beaten to death by a sea otter wearing a monocle, or perhaps your baby brother was nearly drowned by a dolphin wearing goggles. I suggest therapy. you need to get over your unnatural fear of spectacles and other eye wear. Perhaps one day you can have Mr-Peanut brand products again, without standing in the shopping aisle, staring in horror at the giant foam Mr-peanut manikin, MOUTH agape, staring at both the peanut jar in your hand and alternating with the large manikin as a puddle forms beneath you, and your KNEES buckle as you succumb to the pure horror of the situation. Perhaps, with said counselling, you can walk by a Lenscrafters without going int a murderous rage. Maybe, one day, you will have the COURAGE to walk into a convenience store, and not turn red with pure anger as you see the cheap sunglasses. In a similar vein, perhaps your friends will no longer be afraid to play ZZ-top on "shuffle" in the fear that "Cheap Sunglasses" would play, knowing full well what happened at Aunt Gladys's funeral, when you caught a young relative playing the song on his MP3 player. Never before have you seen so many giraffes learn to play the washboard only to be told that they no longer had a gig. You single-handedly destroyed their band. Well, actually, it wasn't only you that went berserk, your third cousin Ronald went on a rampage by your side, due to his fear of clowns (combined with the curious decision to have a circus act at a funeral; I mean, Aunt Gladys was a part of their Troupe, but to my understanding she was a third-level book-keeper. Quote BIG COMPANY'S Quote from: BC_Programmer on June 26, 2010, 10:42:47 AM And what about the big company's outside the UK? I expect it from a capslocked apostrophe abusing fool, but you, BC, have you forgotten how to spell "companies"? Just a thought, if "big companies get it wrong", why are they big? Quote from: Salmon Trout on June 29, 2010, 03:46:18 PM I expect it from a capslocked apostrophe abusing fool, but you, BC, have you forgotten how to spell "companies"? oddly, it would seem that way. I was reading through my post originally and fixed a handful of "company's" into companies but I guess I missed some. |
